Show your support for a Landmine Free 2025!

When states signed the Mine Ban Treaty in 1997, their objective was clear: to put an end to the suffering caused by anti-personnel landmines.

Landmines can sit in the ground for decades and often long after conflict has ended – causing injury and death to innocent civilians, hindering economic growth and sustainable development, and preventing refugees from returning home safely.

Over 20 years since the Mine Ban Treaty came into force, 60 million people are still living with the fear of injury or death from landmines.

This is unacceptable.

We need you to join us to make as much noise as possible, stand in solidarity, and show your support for a Landmine Free 2025. We need states to step up and show they are committed to achieving this goal in as many countries as possible before more innocent civilians lose limbs, lives and livelihoods.
